Who we are

Inspired! is a nonprofit magazine, created to encourage young people ages 15 to 25 to see their own potential—whether they’re thriving academically or facing challenges.

Through real stories, readers learn how others have navigated setbacks, made purposeful choices, and found inspiration–sometimes in unexpected places.

We encourage all visitors to reflect deeply on their futures—and see their own potential, no matter where they are on their journey. We urge students to work hard, those not yet in school to consider college or vocational paths, and graduates to keep growing and think about how they can contribute to society.

Rather than give advice, Inspired! shares interviews of young people who are already making an impact or clearly on their way.

These individuals—diverse in background, orientation, and interests—open up about the decisions that have shaped their journeys.

Many have faced and overcome obstacles, and all have been influenced by a wide range of experiences: families, mentors, books, their studies, and urgent global challenges like poverty, racism, and climate change.

Rather than giving advice, Inspired! shares interviews with people who are already making an impact or clearly on their way.

In addition to interviews, the magazine features opinion pieces on issues relevant to youth, a mentors section and a resources section tailored to their needs.

Our digital platform offers accessible, inspiring content, with a print version planned for readers without electronic access.

By showcasing a wide variety of individuals, Inspired!  fosters diversity, equity and inclusion.

The paths from homogeneity to diversity, from inequity to equity and from exclusion to inclusion converge at a single intersection: respect, appreciation and justice.

Diverse efforts bring our society closer to the destination we desire; publication of Inspired! is one such effort.
